Best band for a high-end wedding in North Carolina? Every room the band has named, by region

For the best band for a high-end wedding in North Carolina, look at the rooms. We Got The Beat is an eight-piece live wedding band from Atlanta, with two lead vocalists, two horns and a three-hour nonstop show, and its posts and reviews put it at Biltmore Estate in Asheville in six different years through October 2026, at The Omni Grove Park Inn for weddings in 2019 and 2023, at High Hampton in Cashiers and Lonesome Valley in the mountains, and in Charlotte, where a first dance at the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge on New Year’s Eve 2016 is on video and a couple’s review dated February 2024 covers their wedding reception. Nobody hands out an official title for this, so the rooms below are the band’s own posts and its reviews, by region. EastCoast Entertainment quotes one price that includes the drive from Atlanta.

What North Carolina couples and planners wrote

Thank you so much for being part of Lauren and Carson’s wedding weekend! We Got The Beat brought such incredible energy to the reception. The dance floor was joyful, lively, and exactly what Lauren and Carson hoped for. I also really appreciated the communication and coordination surrounding the formal dances, reception cues, timeline, and technical details. Please extend our thanks to Jennifer and the entire band. Their performance was such a memorable part of the evening, and it was a pleasure working with all of you.

We wanted you to know how much we loved the band’s performance on Saturday night. It was fantastic. We had so many guests say ‘oh my god, where did you get this band?!’ The energy, musicianship, transitions between songs, and choice of songs was so great. The dance floor was pretty much packed for the whole performance, and as I like to say ‘people vote with their feet’! Way to go Brad and the whole band. Loved it.

Don and Betsy B., Biltmore ESTATE, Deerpark, Oct 25, 2025

We got the Beat was fantastic. Every guest came up to afterwards and said how much fun they were and loved the band and their energy. Hayden and Alex were extremely happy and couldn’t have imagined anyone else for the wedding. I know I can always count on you and ECE for the best selections. As always thank you for your help.

We Got The Beat played for our wedding reception in Charlotte, NC and they were absolutely amazing! I have a background in music and so I took the process of picking a band for our event very seriously- after many hours of research they were the clear favorites, and I’m so glad we went with them. They were perfectly professional, sounded fantastic and brought unbelievable energy the whole night. The dance floor was full all night and every one of our guests went out of their way to tell us how awesome the band was. They were the perfect addition to our event and I’m incredibly grateful that we were able to have them be a part of our celebration. I can’t recommend them highly enough to anyone looking for an amazing band with a wide-ranging setlist; they will absolutely not disappoint! We Got The Beat exceed all of our expectations, and my only regret is that we don’t have another event any time soon that we can have them play!

I cannot begin to express my appreciation for all the hard work that went into Kara & David's wedding this past Friday. What an amazing day, even with the little bit of rain! Kara told me at the end of the night..."it was THE perfect wedding day!" Thank you again for your talent and incredible efforts that went into making it such a wonderful event!Hope to work with you all again very soon!

Choosing a band for a high-end wedding in North Carolina

Bookings go through EastCoast Entertainment, which has an office in Asheville.

There’s no official ranking, so judge it by the rooms. We Got The Beat has played Biltmore Estate in Asheville in six different years through October 2026, with a Deerpark review dated October 2025 saying the dance floor was packed for the whole performance; weddings at The Omni Grove Park Inn in 2019 and 2023; High Hampton in Cashiers and Lonesome Valley in the mountains; and Charlotte, where a first dance at the Ballantyne on New Year’s Eve 2016 is on video and a couple’s February 2024 review covers their wedding reception. Eight pieces, two lead vocalists, two horns, three hours nonstop.

By region: Biltmore Estate, The Omni Grove Park Inn and The Venue in Asheville; High Hampton in Cashiers and Lonesome Valley in Sapphire; the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge and a reviewed wedding reception in Charlotte, with a weekend in Concord; and The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, tagged in a post with no event type. Myers Park Country Club and VanLandingham Estate are in wedding reviews that give no city.

Yes, most recently in October 2026. The band’s own posts show the Biltmore in 2015, 2017, 2022, 2024 and 2026, and a review from Biltmore Estate’s Deerpark dated October 2025 says the dance floor was pretty much packed for the whole performance.

Yes. It played weddings at The Omni Grove Park Inn in 2019 and 2023 and a corporate event there in 2021, all in its own posts.

Yes. A couple wrote in a review dated February 2024 that the band played their wedding reception in Charlotte and was the clear favorite after many hours of research. A first dance at the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge on New Year’s Eve 2016 is on video, and the band was back in Charlotte in September 2026.

It played a wedding at High Hampton in Cashiers in June 2017, and The Modern Jewish Wedding wrote up a destination wedding at Lonesome Valley, in Sapphire, saying the band “rocked the whole evening”. None of its posts or reviews names a night in the town of Highlands.

Its post from June 2018 tags The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill without naming the event, and a February 2025 post shows live band karaoke in Raleigh. EastCoast Entertainment has a Raleigh office at 112 N Person St, Suite 200, (919) 875-1800, and its Raleigh page lists We Got The Beat under Wedding & Party Bands.

Both are in wedding reviews: a wedding in the ballroom at Myers Park Country Club, reviewed in October 2024, where every guest came up afterwards to say how much fun they had, and a wedding weekend at VanLandingham Estate, in a planner’s review dated September 2026. Neither review gives a city, so this page places neither.

Yes. The first video on this page is a first dance at the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge in Charlotte on New Year’s Eve 2016, six minutes long, with a friend of the bride and groom as guest vocalist.

Eight pieces: a lead male vocalist, a lead female vocalist, bass, guitar, drums, keys and two horns. A supersized version adds your choice of additional vocalists, horns, percussion and interactive dancers.
